Tom grew up in Urbandale and graduated from UHS in 1990. After graduation, he began his experience in roofing the following summer. Not long after, he met Nanci, and they were married 8 months later. Tom is a committed family man. He and his wife of 29 years have two daughters and are blessed with a granddaughter and three grandsons.
Working at a local family-owned roofing company, Tom learned the ins and outs of the roofing trade. After 11 years mastering the installation of asphalt shingles, wood shakes, composite shingles, and many additional aspects of roofing, he decided it was time to go out on his own.
22 years later and Tom Sauer Roofing has withstood the test of time. There have been many ups & downs since 2000 when he decided to start his own company—building the business one roof at a time. Tom Sauer Roofing is here today and will be tomorrow—offering quality roofing at a fair price.
